With raza of Janab Mukerram bhaisaheb and with niyat of Moula TUS khushi, Anjuman-e-Burhanee is holding the third and final Quomi Libaas drive for upliftment of mumineen in India. The collection will be on Saturday October 27th, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm, we will be accepting donations of Quomi Libaas for men, women, and children to package and ship to India.
Please bring Quomi Libaas clothing only (mens’ pehran/saya/kurta/topi; womens’ rida; boys’ saya/kurta/topi; girls jabla izaar/topi). All clothing must be in proper condition for immediate use by our mumineen bhaiyo and bheno. This means that all donations MUST be:
Washed and namazi
No stains, holes, rips, or other defects
Suitable for majlis (no colored saya, only white and gold topis, etc)
Clothing that does not meet the above criteria will NOT be accepted. Also, clothing that is not quomi libas (underwear, regular shirts and pants, etc.) will NOT be accepted.
Please bring suitable items for donation, clean and *freshly washed*, to Utility room (beneath the stairs) at Masjid ul Ezzi. Please do NOT leave clothes at masjid before or after the donation period – clothing *MUST* be dropped off ONLY during the collection period of 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
In addition to quomi libas, we also are requesting contributions from mumineen for the shipping cost to Mumbai. And we need volunteers to help sort and fold the clothes for shipping.

Platt library located on Victory Blvd (near intersection of Platt, next to Shell gas Station) will be closed from October 22-November 15, 2018 for some remodeling. The book drop off box outside will also be locked. During the closure dates, you can return the books at Woodland Hills or Canoga Park Libraries. If you have books on hold, you can change the pick up location.

As everyone knows that Ezzi masjid is participating in the Interfaith March on October 28, we will need volunteers at the various sites and along the March route and ofcourse at Ezzi Masjid. We need help in the following categories:
Sit at tables and register walkers
Sit at tables and give out information on “bridge housing” a program to get all the homeless housed.
Sit at tables to give out water and snacks
Greet people “Greeters”
Direct people to the next destination from our parking lot
Follow the marchers and remove any bottles or snack wrappings that people may leave behind.
MEDICAL personnel to administer First Aid if necessary.
Help on food collection truck at Temple Aliyah and at Ezzi Masjid
We will also need some volunteers on Saturday October 27 to help setup things in the masjid.
