As you may know, the LA Police Commission is considering a new policy for releasing body-worn camera video to the public after an officer-involved shooting or other serious use of force incident. The LAPD’s current policy is to not release such videos. The Commission has asked the Policing Project to help gather input from the community on whether to change the policy — and if so, what the new policy should be. 

The Policing Project would like to ask for your help in getting the word about this opportunity for people to weigh in on this extremely important issue.
