Los Angeles is often referred to as The Entertainment Capital of the World due to the presence of Hollywood, and the area’s radio, television, music, & filmmaking, as well as the abundance of tourist and amusement attractions in the region.
Getting Around L.A.
it is highly recommended that you rent a car from the airport on arrival. Other options do include the Metro system (combination of trains and buses) and Uber. There is also SuperShuttle Service to/from LAX to anywhere in LA.
If you are being picked up by friends or family from LAX, consider using the Van Nuys FlyAway bus service instead. Specifically, the Van Nuys location is most convenient for getting to the San Fernando Valley area, where the majority of mumineen reside. You can Uber from there to your hotel or utaro, or rent a car from the adjacent Van Nuys airport.
